Warranty & Care
Every Andersson Stone piece is made to be worn every day and kept for a lifetime. These are the promises that come with it.
4-year warranty
Every piece is covered for four years from the delivery date against manufacturing defects, including:
- Loose or fallen stones caused by a faulty setting
- Broken clasps and locks
- Bent or broken prongs and settings
If your piece has a manufacturing defect, we will repair it or, if repair isn't possible, replace it with the same or an equivalent piece, free of charge.
Lifetime diamond guarantee
Every diamond we set, natural or lab-grown, is guaranteed for life never to change in colour or lose its brilliance. Read more about the guarantee.
What the warranty doesn't cover
- Normal wear, such as scratches, dents or a softened polish on the metal
- Damage from accidents, impacts, misuse or incorrect storage
- Lost pieces, and stones lost because of impact or damage to the setting
- Pieces that have been resized, repaired or altered by anyone other than Andersson Stone
How to make a claim
- Reach us through our contact page with your order number, a short description and a photo of the issue.
- We review the claim and, if the piece needs to come in, send you instructions for insured return shipping.
- Once inspected, we repair or replace the piece and send it back to you insured.
Please keep your order confirmation as proof of purchase.
Caring for your jewellery
Everyday wear
- Take your jewellery off before swimming, bathing, exercising, cleaning or sleeping.
- Put it on after perfume, lotion and hairspray.
- Avoid household chemicals such as chlorine and bleach, which can damage gold alloys.
Cleaning
Soak your piece in lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap, brush gently with a soft brush, rinse and dry with a lint-free cloth. This removes the film of oils and dust that dulls a diamond's sparkle.
Storage
Store each piece separately in its box or a soft pouch. Diamonds can scratch other jewellery, and even other diamonds.
Regular checks
Check clasps and settings now and then. If a stone feels loose or a clasp doesn't close firmly, stop wearing the piece and contact us.
Your statutory rights
This warranty is given in addition to your rights under consumer law. As a consumer in Sweden and the EU, you always keep your statutory right to complain about faulty goods, whatever this warranty says.
